Our Natural Deodorant Paste is 100% Natural and Vegan and contains no chemicals, aluminium or preservatives. Our deodorants aim to treat your skin whilst helping to combat body odour. They are not antiperspirants that block your pores, they are natural and made from ingredients from the earth including minerals, plants, oils and butters. It is likely that you will still sweat with our deodorants, as that’s nature's way of keeping you cool and helping to flush out toxins.

Ever tried a natural Deodorant? Wondering what all the fuss is about? Making the switch can be challenging at first but oh so rewarding in the long run. Why should we use a Natural Deodorant instead of the mainstream roll on that we can buy in the Supermarket? Well…. have you read any of the ingredients listed on the back? Can you pronounce them? Do you know what they do and who/what they were tested on?

The beauty of a Natural Deodorant is knowing that you are not adding any more chemicals into the body which can be dangerous over time nor are you blocking the sweat glands which is very unnatural. Our bodies were meant to sweat, that is how we remove toxins, however, nobody likes the smell of body odour! Which is where the power of a Natural Deodorant comes in! It works its magic to deodorize your pits, leaving no smell and no toxins, just healthy underarms.

And, yes this works for even the super heavy sweaters! Using ingredients like Organic Shea Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Arrowroot, Bicarbonate Soda and the purest Essential Oils, you know you’re doing something good for yourself. Don’t worry, we have the sensitive pits covered too, with two different Deodorant Pastes and even a Deodorant Powder  designed with gentle but effective ingredients. Using a Pit Detox is also an awesome way to draw out pollutants and toxic substances, which will freshen up and detoxify your pits and help with the effectiveness of your deodorant. 

When switching to a natural deodorant it can take 2-3 weeks for your body to adjust.

We highly suggest to use our Pit Detox, as this will help care for your pits and detoxify them to assist with your transition to a natural deodorant paste.

Everyone has very different skin, so what works for one, might not work for another, so you might need to try more than one to find what works for you. We always suggest to try a bicarb based deodorant and a bicarb-free deodorant so you can alternate them and understand what your body responds better to. We (The Rustic Peppermint gang) always alternate between a bicarb and a bicarb free and never have issues.

Be mindful that shaving and applying a bi-carb deodorant may cause irritation for some. We recommend for those that shave, to do so the night before and avoid applying deodorant for at least 8-12 hours. Be Sure to wash off your Play Hard before bed as you don’t need a strong deodorant whilst your asleep. We highly recommend our Deodorant Powder as a night time deodorant.

On very hot days, when you're more physical or even stressed a reapplication may be needed.

Storage: Keep in a cool dry place. If your deodorant gets too soft in the summer/hot weather just pop it into the fridge to reset (you might need to give it a good stir first). This will not effect your natural deodorant paste in any way. In the cooler months your deodorant might become hard, this is normal. Just use a small spoon to scoop out what you need. It will warm up once in contact with the armpit.
